Troubleshooting

  • Odoo shows “Your print service is offline”
    • Check that the client-side app is installed and running (look for the tray/menu bar icon).
    • Refresh your Odoo browser tab to trigger reconnection.
    • Click the printer icon in the Odoo top-right tray to manually reconnect. The icon turns blue when connected.
    • Ensure your firewall/security software allows traffic on port 32276.
    • Windows Store build: if persistent connection/settings issues occur, uninstall the Microsoft Store version and install the .msi from the Omni Print website.
  • Cannot connect in Apple Safari
    • Cause: Safari enforces stricter local service access policies.
    • Solution: Use Chrome or Firefox to access Odoo.
  • POS receipt logo or images look squashed
    • Fixed in client-side app v1.2.2+. Please update to the latest version.
  • Kitchen printer content is cut off
    • Increase Feed Lines in the client-side app under the POS tab to ensure enough space before cutting.
  • macOS asks for the License Key after every restart
    • Please update to latest version to avoid this issue.
