Troubleshooting
1. Connectivity
Section titled “1. Connectivity”- Odoo shows “Your print service is offline”
- Check that the client-side app is installed and running (look for the tray/menu bar icon).
- Refresh your Odoo browser tab to trigger reconnection.
- Click the printer icon in the Odoo top-right tray to manually reconnect. The icon turns blue when connected.
- Ensure your firewall/security software allows traffic on port
32276
. - Windows Store build: if persistent connection/settings issues occur, uninstall the Microsoft Store version and
install the
.msi
from the Omni Print website.
- Cannot connect in Apple Safari
- Cause: Safari enforces stricter local service access policies.
- Solution: Use Chrome or Firefox to access Odoo.
2. Print quality and formatting
Section titled “2. Print quality and formatting”- POS receipt logo or images look squashed
- Fixed in client-side app

3. License and activation
